When we are hurt, it's easy to communicate from the ego or the mind rather than the heart. This can look a lot of ways, from blaming, lashing out, accusing, shutting down, pushing away, being passive aggressive, etc. When we communicate from the heart, we speak truthfully, vulnerably, and openly. We say what we feel without blaming, with a motivation to connect rather than tear apart. We are honest about our desire to mend, to feel whole, to create love through the interaction. I explored this in a video, and I hope you find it nourishing to watch. Much love, dear hearts.
