Well. Sometimes you pull cards on a Monday morning with a hopeful smile on your face and then you see this ;-) . On first glance we see lots of swords and think.. ewww. However, sometimes life just be that way, babies. And that's okay. That's beautiful. Let's see what lessons and wisdom we can gain here.
✨ energy ✨ +3 of Cups+ So we're starting off great, yeah?! It seems that this week will be relationships- focused. Whether that be friendships or romance or family, you tell me. But our energy will definitely be on those we relate most intimately with. This card is about camaraderie and community. It can also indicate a reunion of sorts, and celebration.
✨ opportunity ✨ +9 of Swords+ Yet then we see that the opportunity this week is the nine of swords. As you can see, this woman is in deep mental anguish and anxiety. It makes me wonder what about our relationships do we need to look at? How are we looking at them that is causing us mental unease? What is causing us fear? Insecurity? Are things worse in our heads than they are in reality or is our intuition telling us something we need to pay attention to? I have a feeling it will be a little bit of both.
✨ advice ✨ +6 of Pentacles, reversed+ While the 6 of pentacles is usually about giving and receiving, here it came out reversed. This tells me that the best course of action this week may be to keep your cards close to your chest, so to speak, while you figure things out on the inside. Take a moment to look in as a neutral observer of your relationships. Be aware of where you may be giving too much, or asking for too much, in relationships. Where is there an imbalance? How can you begin to tip the scales more evenly? It's perfect and beautiful to be generous, and it's perfect and beautiful to need, ask, and receive help. But it can be draining to be on one side of the equation all the time. On a very basic and practical note this card can advise you to be a bit more cautious with your money and who you spend it on/lend it to.
✨ guide ✨ +10 of Swords+ Your guide this week asks you, with great dramatic flair, to begin to let things go. Whatever is dying, let it die. Now. I know that it is much easier said than done. Letting go, breaking up, or any other ending, can be painful! I get it. But it is much more painful in the long run to drag things out and make that death slow and brutal. This could be a literal ending to a relationship, or an ending to the way things were going. It could also simply be an ending to the mental attitude you or someone else was holding on to. Whatever it is, you know. You are the one with the wisdom here. What does your gut say? And after all that, you know the beautiful thing about endings? They are always, always, always, directly followed by new beginnings. Rebirth.
Be gentle with yourselves this week, my loves. Be gentle with the ones around you, too. And if I may suggest that you hold on to one of my favorite mantras and beliefs of all time...Repeat after me: Everything is happening for my highest and best good. Now and forever.
xoxo! If you would like a personal in depth reading on anything going on in your life, check out the offerings tab. Much love!
